<p>Tara is a Wolastoqey woman from Neqotkuk First Nation in New Brunswick Canada. Tara is currently the Executive Director for MAWIW Council INC,&nbsp; Former experience includes Senior Advisor, AFN Regional Chief's Office for the Assembly of First Nations. She worked with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada from 1999 to 2017she holds a Bachelor of Criminology, behavioral Sciences from the University of Maine Presque Isle, Tara also attended law school at the University of New Brunswick. she also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) - Political Science and Government, Native studies history from St. Thomas University.&nbsp; She is a champion of women and youth leadership.</p> <p>Tara est une femme Wolastoqey de la Première Nation Neqotkuk au Nouveau-Brunswick canada. Tara est actuellement directrice générale du Conseil DE MAWIW INC. Et son expérience antérieure comprend la Conseillere principal au Bureau du chef régional de l’APN pour l’Assemblée des Premières Nations. Elle a travaillé avec le Ministère des pêches et des océans du Canada de 1999 à 2017, elle est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en criminologie et sciences du comportement de l’Université du Maine Presque Isle, Tara a également fréquenté la faculté de droit de l’Université du Nouveau-Brunswick. elle est également titulaire d’un baccalauréat en&nbsp;arts (BA) - Sciences politiques et gouvernement, études autochtones en histoire de l’Université St. Thomas.&nbsp; Elle est une championne du leadership des femmes et des jeunes.</p> <p>Noel Milliea is a Mi’kmag Native from elspipogtog First Nation Reserve in New Brunswick Canada and has been working with the parole board of Canada for the past 24 years in the area of aboriginal initiatives and aboriginal offenders rehabilitation .Noel also had taught at the university of PEI for the 18 years teaching a full semester course for the 4th year B.E.D students titled Indigenous Education. Noel has also developed and delivered numerous courses based on cultural diversity awareness. Noel also have developed healing model of the medicine wheel, and has been delivery this course to mainstream society as a tool to guide one self on their journey to healing. Noel also served as the national Elder for the parole Board of Canada and has also presented as a keynote speaker at numerous national and international justice conferences education .”Along with living a spiritual way of life, Noel is a well respected elder in is community ,and is a pipe carrier/sweat lodge conductor for people of his community. He has lived an alcohol and drug free life for the past 35 years.</p> <p>Noel Milliea est un Mi’kmag de la réserve de la Première Nation d’Elspipogtog au Nouveau-Brunswick au Canada et travaille avec la commission des libérations conditionnelles du Canada depuis 24 ans dans le domaine de réhabilitation des premières Nations. Noel avait également enseigné à l’Université de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard pendant les 18 années où il enseignait un cours à temps plein pour la 4e année de B.E.D. Noel a également développé et dispensé des cours purs sur la culture sur la diversité culturelle. Noel a également développé un modèle de guérison de la roue médicinale, et a été livré ce cours à la société standard comme un outil pour se guider dans son cheminement vers la guérison. Noel a également été l’aîné national du conseil d’administration du Canada et a également prononcé des discours lors de conférences nationales et internationales sur la justice et l’éducation. En plus de vivre un mode de vie spirituel, Noel est un aîné bien respecter dans sa communauté et est un dévoué à l’endurance des tentes de sudation &nbsp;pour les gens de sa communauté. Il mène une vie sans drogue et alcool depuis 35 ans.</p>
