In the inaugural episode of Talking Shifts, host Mak Jagger breaks down why timeline jumping is NOT spiritual bypassing, and how everything is random and fated at the same time. This weekâs featured guest is Deidre Rodriguez, the vocalist and songwriter, and front woman of the ATX based band Red & the Rebels (singer of Pisces Moon, our theme song!). Deidre is also the mystic behind HexeTarots, and is my tarot daughter. In part 1 of a two-part episode, Mak talks with Deidre about growing queer in a high-control religion, abandoning an athletic background for a life in the arts, and surviving a near death experience last year in which she required a triple organ transplant. Mak also chats with therapist, intuitive reader, and coach Sydney Kudvicz regarding ethics in navigating the differences between therapy and tarot reading, as well as whether or not tarot can be ânon-mysticalâ with.
