I Drifted From God… Until He Called Me Back | Emmanuel’s Testimony | Ep. 7

In Episode 7 of Taste and See, Emmanuel shares an honest and powerful testimony of faith, loss, drifting, and obedience.

Growing up in Kumasi in a family that was liberal with matters of faith, Emmanuel’s belief in God was shaken after a family tragedy — causing him to stop believing for a season. Years later, a simple decision to follow someone to church led to conviction and a renewed walk with God.

After relocating to Accra for work, Emmanuel slowly drifted again — trying to reconnect with old friends, build new relationships, and live life in the city. Though he still attended church, his devotion faded.

One service changed everything. The preacher’s words felt personal — as though God Himself was calling him back to the life and relationship he once had. That moment marked a return to dedication and obedience.

Emmanuel also shares a powerful testimony of trusting God with provision. After being duped while searching for accommodation, God later asked him to sow everything he had saved — a test of obedience that required deep faith. When he obeyed without knowing where he would live, God came through by connecting him with someone who offered him a place to stay.

🎧 Taste and See is a faith-based conversation series sharing real stories of God’s goodness, correction, and grace.

From Many Paths to One Truth: Xorlali’s Journey to Christ | Ep 6

🎙️ TASTE AND SEE | Episode — Xorlali: “From Many Paths to One Truth”

In this episode of Taste and See, Xorlali shares a powerful and deeply honest testimony of growing up between belief systems — following a Hindu sect through his father’s influence while attending church with his Christian mother. Raised with the idea that many paths lead to God, faith for Xorlali was complex and filled with unanswered questions.

During senior high school, a chaplain took a personal interest in him, challenging his beliefs and walking closely with him. This eventually led to a personal encounter with Christ — and a decision to give his life fully to Jesus.

Even after conversion, questions remained. Wrestling with the idea of salvation, eternity, and truth, Xorlali’s journey wasn’t without struggle. At one point, he experienced a mental breakdown that led to a serious fall from a two-storey building, resulting in a broken jaw, surgery, and months of recovery.

Through it all, God healed him — physically, mentally, and spiritually. Just months after recovery, he went on to host the biggest chef event of his career. Today, Xorlali is deeply rooted in his faith, bold about his identity as a child of God, and clear about where true direction comes from.

🎧 Taste and See is a faith-based conversation series sharing real stories of transformation and God’s goodness.
