008. Why Eating 'Healthy' Might Hurt Performance
<p>The biggest issue I see in the athletes I work with is simply eating ENOUGH. And, what makes it even harder to get the fuel you need? Yup, when you are avoiding the often-demonized calorically dense foods<em> </em>(read: Processed! Carbohydrates! The horror!!! 😱). Although these food rules might seem harmless, they can have some pretty serious consequences.</p> <p><br></p> <p>When athletes cut out entire food groups and start swapping bread for veggies or rice for cauliflower, it almost always decreases an athlete’s overall calorie intake. 007. Why I Never Bought Cheetos
<p>What's your "I'll never buy that" food? You know, that food that you can't keep in the house, or you'll eat the entire bag or box in one night? Yeah, that kind of food. Mine?
