The importance of saving our soils and supporting local farmers
Welcome to another episode of my sustainability series! This week I had an amazing talk with Tim Fijal, founder of Astungkara Way, a company that organizes walks through regenerative forests and traditional rice fields throughout Bali. They combine the joy of travel with the beauty of discovering the true culture of Bali. Tim explains the importance of protecting our natural soil and supporting local farmers who are putting regenerative practices into action. In a world with a rising climate, population, and levels of food insecurity, it is important to focus on the changes you can make in your daily life as well as your community around you. Every little action matters, even by informing yourself of the global phenomenon of food insecurity and regenerative practices. Learn how to plant the seed within those around you, sparking discussion and change for the better.

Creating a lasting impact in your local community
For todays episode I am joined by the amazing David Campbell, co-founder of Prasad Food Kitchen here in Bali! Prasad is a nonprofit initiative that cooks and distributes fresh meals for locals in need. It is entirely ran on donations and the help of volunteers who come 3x a week to help make it happen. David shares his journey along the way and inspires others to make a lasting change in their own communities. You too can make a sustainable and effective contribution to those around you! If you are able to donate to help their cause, here is the direct link https://www.omprakash.org/global/prasad-food-kitchen/donate
