#22 | Tea Talk with Ashley Wu: Tips For Young Professionals Balancing Work, Life & Motherhood

In this week's Tea Talk with Amy, Amys has the opportunity to sit down with Ashley Wu, mother extraordinaire and founder of @thisis_maison , about why she went the extra mile to create the only social club for women on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Ashley shares her struggles while working from home to balance being a mother and her professional life. While searching for the club-like space that could become her haven away from home, she quickly realized nothing like this was available in her area. Ashley created Maison in early 2019 for ladies — much like herself — to have a space to prioritize themselves. When you visit, you'll notice it's so much more than a co-working space, but a community. Whether they are working, socializing or taking a quiet moment to plan for the coming week, Ashley stresses how important it is for ladies and especially mothers, to take time for yourself.
