Erasmus+ Exchange 2024 (Before)
<p>In March 2024, a number of students from the University of Washington Bothel (USA) and South East Technological University (Ireland) began an exchange programme, funded via Erasmus+ and facilitated through Teach CoLab. </p> <p> </p> <p>Rob O’Connor of SETU spoke with a number of the students about their attitudes and hopes for the exchange at the start of the process. This will be followed up another podcast at the end. On the panel were US Health Studies students Maya Nikolic and Andy Pham and Irish Health Promotion student Christina O’Reilly. Also in the studio was graduate Georgina Leahy who undertook a similar exchange in 2022. Georgina now works with the Youth Diversion programme The Sway Project. </p> <p> </p> <p>This podcast will be followed up with an “after” piece when the exchange has been completed.</p>

<p>Two exchange students from Washington State reflect on their experiences of life in Waterford, Ireland. In a very open and easy fashion, students Mindy Vu and Jennifer Dinh talk with Rob O'Connor (from Waterford) about the people they met and places they've visited during their time in Ireland. They also compare discuss differences in the academic approaches of the Irish and US systems.</p> <p>This exchange was financed through Erasmus+ funding obtained by the Teach CoLab project.
