<p><strong>“Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.” ~Coco Chanel. Being yourself, your authentic self seems like a simple concept. Just be you---but It’s not that easy. When looking at who you are there are many layers of your identity as a person. In fact, there is a branch of humanistic psychology--which studies the whole person and the uniqueness of each individual.<br> <br> In this episode, we explore the foundation of humanistic psychology. We will learn about theories that are rooted in the understanding of self-actualization and the congruence of self-image and the ideal self.
