Welcome back to episode 7 of Season 7 which is called #InnerPeace This episode is titled “Food for the Soul” Today’s episode of TIA has host Saa Hiil Thut(Gerry Oldman) sharing about the importance of indigenous soul food and food nourishment. Gerry shares his earliest memories of food in his life, as well as his first A&W burger. He wants to inspire and motivate others about what we put into our bodies. The importance it has on our day-to-day life, and on our mind, bodies, and spirits. Gerry shares how much he values traditional foods, and remembering how his elders would enjoy getting soul food with tears in their eyes. It’s about doing our best, or the next best thing, and committing to taking care of ourselves. Love put into food is love put into our bodies, which helps with our #InnerPeace

Gerry talks about what podcasting means to him as he shares discussion with his producers talking about their own stories finding podcasting and working with Uncle Gerry on Teachings in the Air!
