While the technical bits of sound knowledge, understanding and implementation were a must have, there was another crucial trait that made or broke, who you are as a sound engineer. People skills. If you’re not a personable person, no matter how brilliant, it will often be that people will hesitate to work with you. Being a decent person first is as important as being a decent engineer.
