Episode forty four - Baby shower weekend turned baby arrival weekend

Welcome to That NICU Mum, a podcast sharing stories of New Zealand parents who have had a baby in a neonatal unit across the country.

This episode is proudly sponsored by The Thrifting Den, your one stop thrift and consignment shop. Shop premium pre-loved pieces at non premium prices now at www.thethriftingden.com

This episode we speak with Maddy, whos son Jasper was born just before 34 weeks after her baby shower (sounds familiar to my own baby shower experience!) when it seemed that she had had a placental abruption. Jasper had a pretty straightforward NICU stay, being moved between North Shore where they were when when he was born and Rotorua where they live. Maddy talks about her easy pregnancy, her scary birth where she was under GA, and how they think that his gestation and dates were probably wrong considering his ease in which he flew through NICU!

Enjoy,

Shan x x

Hosted on Acast.
