<p>This week Sean and Miriam brave the topic of Uniform and discuss whether uniform is still necessary in 2022. They start by reflecting on their own experiences of uniform in their childhood and then in their work within schools. They look at the reasons for uniform and look at the arguments for flexibility and the consequences when we don't get it right. Although they can't promise to settle the debate they relish bringing the question to the listener.</p>

<p>Sean, Miriam and special guest Fran Njovarna discuss what it means to be a great teacher. They delve back into their own childhoods and education to reflect on their own favourite teachers of the past and what made them "great". They discuss the difference between great resources and great teaching practise as well as talking about the considerations of someone who plans lessons for others to use. They also reflect on how best to set cover work for others before finishing the episode off with some top tips on how to develop your teaching practise and lesson planning. </p>
