<p>Today we talk to Kevin Brady. &nbsp;Kevin Brady is a management consultant, author, and &nbsp;educator, who focuses on helping improve the environmental, social, and &nbsp;financial performance, and sustainability, of organisations, products &nbsp;and materials.&nbsp; His clients include Fortune and Global 500 firms across a &nbsp;diversity of industrial sectors from mining to energy, consumer goods, &nbsp;transportation, manufacturing, oapparel, &nbsp;and retail.</p> <p>He &nbsp;helped develop environmental management standards for the International &nbsp;Organisation for Standardisation, better know as ISO, and he has been a &nbsp;member of the Canadian Standards Association Policy Board.</p> <p>In &nbsp;2012 Kevin was recognised as a member of Canada’s Clean 50 for his &nbsp;contributions to clean capitalism. He is currently an instructor of &nbsp;Sustainability and Industrial Design at Carleton University in Ottawa, &nbsp;Canada.</p>

<p>Today we talk with Claire Sullivan, a Seattle lawyer. &nbsp;A graduate of Lehigh University with a BA and MA in political &nbsp;science, Claire taught special education for 3 years in Kona, Hawaii, &nbsp;two summers in Ramallah, Palestine, and a year in Long Xuyen, Vietnam.</p> <p>As &nbsp;a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law she clerked &nbsp;for Judge David Mannheimer on the Alaska State Court of Appeals in &nbsp;Anchorage, Alaska.</p> <p>She Moved back to Seattle in August of 2017 and has been working as a public defender in King County, Washington since.</p>

<p>Bill and his three brothers opened Chicago’s first bagel chain, Jacobs Bros Bagels, in 1983. They expanded to 20 locations and then sold to Big Apple bagels in 1999. In 2001, with Rick Nielsen from the band Cheap Trick, Bill opened Piece, a New Haven style pizzeria and brewpub located in Wicker Park. Piece supports multiple community organizations including the Children’s Memorial Hospital, WBEZ, the Looking Glass Theater, P.A.W.S, and Pilot Light Chefs. In December 2007 Bill opened Piece Out, a carryout and delivery business, and then in August 2014 Bill opened Brobagel in a small storefront next to Piece</p> <p>In 2015 Piece was the highest grossing single location pizzeria in the U.S.A with 7M in annual sales. It won Top Independent Pizzeria of the Year 2011, and has won 28 medals at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup since 2002, including the World Beer Cups’ highest honor, Champion Small Brewpub, and Piece just won a gold and a bronze medal at the World Beer Cup this month. Whoa, I’m tired now.</p>
