Podcast Overview

Abnormality is a hallmark of great people. Societal norms are overrated, being average is all too common, public perception of fear and failure is wrong, and being realistic gets your nowhere. Each episode brings inspiration from a variety of topics to live a life that is true to you. I speak to the crazies who are looked down on for being different and say, "keep coloring outside the lines."

Why Our Culture Hates When People Make Money and What That Says About Ourselves

We live in a culture that roots for a 50% downfall of most people. Enough that makes that person feel better about there own lives. The biggest insight into the insecurity of your soul is how you feel and comment towards the success of others. We hate it when people make money. We hate it even more when that money comes from anything entrepreneurial or innovative. If it's not money from a job it shouldn't be earned. We hate it when risk takers who have created something long term inherit the benefits of that risk. All in all, we don't like being surpassed in the world because it creates a sense of inferiority. I provide real life examples i've encountered in my own world to back up this statement. I've been ripped apart by comments for taking a chance to create something for myself. I've been criticized for making money in various ways. Time for me to speak up... not about what that does to me, but what it says about everyone who makes the comments. To all the haters, whatever is making you feel inferior in your own lives, i'm very sorry.

Getting an "F" Isn't as Bad as You Think

I've always believed that focusing on your strengths is a huge key to success. Remember, weaknesses are different than character flaws. I don't promote the idea of not caring if you are an unkind person. That is a character flaw. I do promote not caring if you aren't good at social studies. If you ever try to create a business, invest money, or develop a personal brand, you will find out there is a lot of stuff you suck at. It teaches you that instead of trying to be good at it all, which is impossible to do, you find others who excel in areas that you do not. You must focus on being the best that you can at what you are amazing at. We all have stuff that we are rockstars at and at the same time we all have things that we absolutely suck at. Stop focusing on the stuff we suck at and focus on honing in on our strengths.

If anyone is interested in checking out the Clifton Strength Finders Assessment, the link is below. It does cost money but if you are in an area of business or brand development I HIGHLY recommend it. It's an amazing tool to gain self awareness around yourself AND team members that can create positive changes in the brand or company.
https://www.gallup.com/cliftonstrengths/en/252137/home.aspx

It'd mean the world if y'all checked out my other pages:

Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/heywhereyou
TikTok- https://vm.tiktok.com/HhaBVN/
LinkedIn- Kevin Ujoodha
Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/kevujoodha/
Twitter- https://twitter.com/whereyouatkev
