Deemed as one of the most lax post-secondary tertiary institutions, Polytechnics have garnered their fair share of both positive and negative light over the years. Some find Polytechnic students are just mere rejects of Junior Colleges. On the other hand, Polytechnic diplomas are deemed highly valuable as graduates possess both the academic knowledge and also the technical or practical know-how, allowing them to join the workforce as soon as they graduate.
