Not only does Jane provide a fantastic insight into this field but offers advice and learning strategies on how to recognise and help remove these “road-blocks” in student attainment. Season 2 Episode 6 - Paramedicine in our communities: what now?: David Blowers
Dave Blowers is a lecturer in Paramedic Science at Glasgow Caledonian University and teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate paramedic students. Dave was one of the first paramedic students to qualify in the UK from the University of Hertfordshire. He joined London Ambulance Services as a trainee technician in 2000 whilst completing his degree and qualified in 2003. He has interests in trauma and resuscitation care as well as inter-personal skills including breaking bad news. He also sits as a fitness to practice panel member of the HCPTS.

Professor Elaine Hunter is the National Allied Health Professions Consultant with Alzheimers Scotland. She is also visiting Professor at the School of Health and Social Care at Edinburgh Napier University. Elaine has always worked in mental health and dementia and has been responsible for the clinical, strategic and managerial leadership of occupational therapy services in a health board in Scotland. Elaine is currently working in a national strategic leadership role in partnership with the Scottish Government and Alzheimers Scotland.
