Podcast Overview

In the modern age of consumer culture, art has become disposable, and as soon as we’ve consumed one thing we’re on to the next. So to combat that, three best friends (and sometimes a mystery guest) have started a podcast. The 4th Wall is a book club for all forms of art and media, where we dive deep into a specific piece of art each episode, whether it be a film, a game, an album, a show, you name it, we’ll bloody talk about it. And there'll be plenty of tangents along the way. Hosted by Ryan Heath, Matt Goward & Izaak Kidd

Episode 7 - Nintendo Wii (Console)

Get your Wiimotes and Nunchuks at the ready because this week the boys are talking all about your auntie's favourite console, the blessed Nintendo Wii. On this episode we cover gaming-related injuries, the secret Mario brother that's kept in the attic, and why the Boots' meal deal is the best thing to happen to 21st century society. We had some serious issues with audio this episode, particularly Ryan's (the bastard), but I've cleaned it up as best as I can so don't come at me in the night. f you have any questions or suggestions you'd like to give us, reach out to us on Twitter and Instagram, @The4thWallCast

Episode 6 - Hades (Video Game)

We're back! Sorry about the week off, we had some serious technical issues with this episode and it was a nightmare to sort but we finally managed it (just)! In this episode we're talking about the gaming masterpiece Hades, which swept up multiple Game of the Year awards in the last few months. Expect some chat about Greek mythology, gods being sexy, and whether or not Tom Cruise has ever made a bad film. We've been abandoned by Izaak this week, but have no fear because we're joined by the most attractive Kosovan that isn't Dua Lipa, the wonderful Shqipdon Osmani.
