Discovering My Emotions: The First Step to Healing

For most of my life, I never thought about emotions. Words like frustration, guilt, or sadness were unfamiliar to me—no one talked about them, so I never learned to recognize them in myself. Then I became a mother. And suddenly, I felt irritated, exhausted, and lost in a role I wasn’t sure I fit into. My husband didn’t listen the way I wanted him to, my son constantly needed me, and I felt trapped in a world that didn’t feel like mine. At first, I thought it was just stress. But deep inside, something bigger was happening. I was reacting to everything around me, yet I didn’t know why. I kept asking myself: Why am I so frustrated all the time? Why do I feel like I’m failing at motherhood? Why can’t I enjoy my life like I used to? Then, one day, I saw an EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) course ad near my house. As a therapist, I thought it would be a good opportunity to expand my skills. But in reality, I was also looking for something—anything—to make me feel like myself again. That decision changed everything. In this episode, I share: ✨ The hidden emotional struggles of motherhood that no one talks about ✨ How EFT unexpectedly led me to my first real experience with emotions ✨ A childhood wound I never knew I was carrying—and how it shaped my reactions as an adult ✨ How I went from thinking about divorce to finding a deep emotional home within myself ✨ A simple EFT exercise to help you connect with your emotions today If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of your emotions, this episode is for you. 💌 Let’s Connect! Have you ever ignored your emotions without realizing it? Did this episode make you reflect on your own emotional awareness? Try the EFT exercise and tell me what comes up for you! 🌿 Next Episode: We’ll explore the hidden beliefs and cultural conditioning that shape us—often without us even realizing it. What if the way you see yourself isn’t really you at all? "From Scent to Touch: How I Discovered the Power of Physical Healing"

"I never planned to become a healer. My journey didn’t begin with a deep desire to help others—it started with something much smaller. A scent. A moment. A simple curiosity." In this episode of The Accidental Healer, I take you on a deeply personal journey of how scent, touch, and reflexology led me into the world of physical healing. At first, I didn’t seek out holistic therapy—I was simply intrigued by aromatherapy and the natural scents of plants and flowers. But that small curiosity opened a door I never expected. 💠 Aromatherapy: How a fascination with scent led me to discover its healing properties. 💠 Massage Therapy: My first experience with hands-on healing—and how it changed my relationship with my body. 💠 Reflexology: A deeply personal breakthrough after experiencing pregnancy loss—and how Reflexology helped me regain balance. 💠 The Body’s Hidden Connections: How I realized that pain isn’t always just physical—it often has deeper emotional and energetic roots. 🌱 A Story of Healing, Culture & Transformation This episode is more than just about therapies—it’s about the way we experience and process touch. Growing up in Japan, physical affection wasn’t openly expressed. Hugging and cuddling weren’t part of daily life. But small gestures—like my parents asking me to step on their backs for relief—still showed me that touch had meaning. So how did someone who wasn’t used to physical touch end up building a career in hands-on healing? This episode dives into how I gradually embraced massage, Reflexology, and bodywork—both personally and professionally. I share: ✅ My first shocking realization during a massage—how much tension I was unknowingly holding. ✅ A Reflexology session that changed everything—how it helped me during a difficult pregnancy journey. ✅ The moment I saw a client experience an instant body-mind connection—proving to me that Reflexology truly works. 🌿 Takeaways from This Episode: ✨ Your body holds tension in ways you might not realize—until you finally release it. ✨ Healing isn’t just about pain relief—it’s about creating a connection with your body. ✨ Even small forms of touch—like placing a warm hand on an area of tension—can bring awareness and relaxation. 💬 Let’s Continue the Conversation: Have you ever had a moment where a simple touch—through massage, Reflexology, or even a comforting hand—completely shifted how you felt? Do you relate to cultural differences in physical touch? Did you grow up in a household that embraced touch or one where it was less common? I’d love to hear your experiences!
