Being neurospicy makes friendships hard, especially maintaining friendships. It can be quite exhausting, especially for me. Recently I've had to take a step back from my friendships and focus on rebuilding my social battery. And in these moments where my notifications are off and I'm just not focusing on anyone else besides myself, I really appreciate the people I have around me; because I know no one is going to feel a type of way about it - because they understand me. It's taken a while for me to be able to get to this point with certain people. So, I just wanted to share a couple of things that I've noticed about my friendships that have helped us get to this point.
