This week on the Advocate Podcast, I am speaking with Tim McCallum, ambassador of Assistance Dogs Australia, a charity that provides fully trained dogs to people with mobility needs, autism or post-traumatic stress. Tim will tell us about the organisation and his personal story of having assistance dogs. Dandelion Support Network, a grassroots not-for-profit that supports children and families in need, is celebrating its tenth-year anniversary by launching a fundraising activity called Dandelion Day to support more than 12,000 families. Danielle Humphreys chats with us about Dandelion Day.

In this week’s episode of the Advocate Podcast I will discuss with Dr Kezelman about the upcoming Blue Knot Day on Thursday, October 28th and how to build a trauma-informed community. Australian Red Cross, a humanitarian aid and community services charity is hosting a Big Cake Bake fundraising campaign encouraging Australians to raise funds while having fun baking.
