<p>Today we're talking to the true heir to the Sufjan throne. It was said in 2003 that there would be an album for every state, and the neo-folk man himself, Sufjan said he would forge them. After nearly two decades, we had lost hope that they would ever be completed. Sure there were a few albums here and there harkening to the project, but incomplete it remained. Incomplete, that it, until the pandemic struck and fate chose LA comedy writer Joey Clift to not only finish the project, but redo the states already covered by Sufjan. And he did it in mere months.
