Donovan and Julia finally get back together, only for Isaac to admit his feelings for Julia in a kiss after his wedding to Roxy. Season 1,Episode 11- "Courageous AF" Amanda crosses the line and sends Edie back into the arms of Tim (her husband btw). She also finally gets her firm on board to support her new brother, Miles. Roxy faces a choice between loyalty to her newfound dad and the plight of her fellow victims...and chooses the later. Faced with the reality of losing his biggest fan in Roxy, Leon begins to face the truth about his actions. Julia hits a dead-end when she researches her mom's dance. Instead, she finally begins to let go and embrace the unknown future. In the process of her search, makes amends and reconnects with Bechley brother, Nate! "Rehabilitated AF; Courageous AF" Season 1 Episode 9 & 10 'Almost Family' Recap & Review
Episode 9: fully embracing her new lifestyle, Edie moves in with Amanda, who's now questioning if it's the right decision. Julia confronts Leon about not being her father and he does the usual-minimize her feelings and tell her its irrelevant. Roxy gets out of rehab and begins to right her wrongs-much to her former coach Nick's dismay. He attempts to assert his power over her one last time and Roxy decides to take a stand. Leon fires Edie after Tim tells him about the affair. Episode 10: Roxy finally tells her story...via social media. unfortunately, she begins to face backlash for her story. Edie and Amanda face their first hurdle- at the hands of Amanda's ex., Leon meets another Bechley baby and is moved to get Edie on the case. Julia tries to connect with Donovan's daughter but to no avail. unfortunately, the two (or rather Julia) decides to call it quits. at the end of the episode, we see and feel the beautiful power of women standing together.
