And it's disgusting when it happens. It's tragic when it happens. because of the impact that it has on workers, but it sadly is a reality of some very tenuous economic times. But, and there's a big but here, these guys signed a deal. This is an American company, Cleveland Cliffs, and Mr. Gonzalez, of course, is the big cheese patty there. When they signed this deal in 2024, they made commitments that said that they were going to maintain employment levels for at least the first five years. […]
