The guys hop on after a Wednesday victory over the Yankees to recap a series that showed us the highest of highs, and lowest of lows of what this young season has had to offer thus far. Two tight wins that ended on Felix Bautista's arm, sandwiching an embarrassing loss in which Kyle Gibson was completely uncompetitive in his 2025 debut seems like a strange microcosm of most of this year of the O's, with the key difference being a victorious three game set as opposed to a loss. Will it carry over into positive momentum? Only time will tell. Thanks as always for listening, and we'll be back at you very soon! The podcast is back for Day 2 of the NFL Draft, with today's episode being pulled from last night's livestream as Jake and Spenny reacted to the action in real time. They kick things off by breaking down the pick of Mike Green out of a Marshall, and edge rusher with first round talent who slipped to 59 overall due to previous allegations that severely checkered his resume. Jake and Spenny have plenty of thoughts on him as a player, the larger discourse surrounding him, and what this means for an organization that has long preached a zero tolerance policy towards players with serious character concerns. They are later joined by Cole Jackson (@ColeJacksonFB) to react live to the pick of OT Emery Jones Jr. out of LSU, as a dart throw on an offensive lineman that the guys think project as a developmental guard for the Ravens (pick analysis for Jones Jr. can be found starting at 1:35:45). Draft Night 1 has come and gone, and the Ravens have made Malaki Starks, the safety out of Georgia, their first pick after a very fun night. Jake, Spenny, and Taylor get into what they really like about this pick, address the small amount of concerns raised about Starks' athletic profile, why this fits for Baltimore so well, and much more. This was an excerpt of Thursday night's Happy Hour Live episode which followed Round 1 in real time from halfway through, all the way to the end; the full episode can be found on the Exit 52 YouTube Channel. Thanks as always for tuning in, and we'll be back at you very soon!
