[…] The higher the dose, the more appetite suppression, the more weight loss. Remember, only for the first year. We didn't go beyond a year in any of these trials, so we don't know what happens in the long term, just in the short term when we're talking about weight loss. What's interesting about this trial is that the improvements in type 2 diabetics, the maximum was 9.6% of body weight loss. But if you take the same dose in the other trials, which were non-diabetics, it was much, much higher, 15%. versus 10 percent um so actually and this is not shouldn't be surprising based on our understanding of insulin resistance etc etc um high dose glp1s are not as effective in weight as for weight loss in type 2 diabetics as they are in people without diabetes is what i'm trying to say um also as i mentioned if you If you look at the studies that show an improvement in complications like the one on heart disease, the select study, it was independent of your weight.
