[…] According to Wikipedia, between 1892 and 1895, she published a lot of short stories. I think she published them maybe during that period and then later collected them in collections. They were published in really important magazines of the day, one of them being the Atlantic Monthly and one of them being Vogue magazine. In fact, the story that we are looking at today, the story of an hour, is something that she published in Vogue. I mentioned earlier that this is one of her most famous stories, and it's one that is anthologized for good reason. It's really good. But there's also a lot here that lends itself to studying it.
