Lover in the Ice - Delta Green RPG Actual Play - (Part 2/2)
<p>An apocalyptic ice storm has crippled Lafontaine, Missouri. The Agents must secure a forgotten storage facility packed with artifacts of past Delta Green operations. They soon confront a horror that gruesomely invades and mutilates its victims. </p><p>What is preying on the citizens of Lafontaine besides the weather? Can the Agents overcome the threat with decisive action, or will they doom everyone in the horror's path?</p><p>Delta Green RPG Actual Play of "Lover in the Ice" by Caleb Stokes. This is part 2 of 2.</p><p>The players were:</p><p>1. Scott Evans (Played by Toby) - Former American Soldier, a veteran of the Iraq War who was injured by an IED, suffering horrible damage to his face that requires him to wear a prosthetic on the side of his face. He works a menial office job now. He is a member of Delta Green.</p><p>2. Andy Dauk (Played by Morgan) - A 65 year old Federal Agent who is close to retirement. He has plans to retire soon and spend more time with his wife, children and many grand children. He writes novels of his Delta Green adventures, but doesn't understand why he never gets a reply from publishers about them. He is a member of Delta Green.</p><p>3. Luke Daughtrey (Played by Adam) - A paramedic who is not a member of Delta Green. He has a twin brother named Cooper who is a Delta Green Agent, Cooper has been suffering mentally and when the call comes in for a mission, Luke can't help himself from answering it and trying to figure out what Cooper has been mixed up in.</p><p>4. Deputy Eli Fillagree (Played by Tim) - A local deputy who is investigating the death of a young man, insistant that there is something foul going on in this small city. <p>A Pulp Cthulhu / Call of Cthulhu RPG Actual Play of the campaign, The Two-Headed Serpent. After surviving the mosasaur attack, the heroes start to remember everything they learned at Caduceus HQ right before they woke up in the Congo. Now they'll need to brave 2 adult Tyrannosaurs and uncover the truth of what Caduceus has been doing in the Congo.Over the course of this campaign, the heroes will loot a lost temple in the forests of Bolivia, go head-to-head with the Mafia in New York City, face a deadly epidemic in the jungles of North Borneo, uncover the workings of a strange cult in dust-bowl-era Oklahoma, infiltrate enemy territory inside an awakening volcano in Iceland, face the horrors of hideous medical experiments in the Congo, race to control an ancient and powerful artifact on the streets of Calcutta, and ultimately travel to a lost continent for a desperate battle to save humanity from enslavement or annihilation! The 4 player characters were:1. Lucy Williams (Played by Morgan) - A pilot smuggler woman with hands the size of dinner plates. She has a pet baboon, Raveen. And a pet cat from the Dreamlands named Mr. Pickles who unfortunately was killed by the Inner Night.2. Hux Grantley (Played by Adam) - A rogue, thief and an archaeologist. He uses a whip and is always looking to make a score. He is a divorced dad who has a fur addiction.3. Dr. Norman Parker (Played by Toby) - An archaeologist who also has a passion for weird science inventions. He creates things from time to time and has picked up a robot friend named Gershwin during the events of the prequel scenario, Progeny.4. Chang (Played by Tim) - A Chinese-American monk. He has psychic abilities including telekinesis. He also uses a staff to fight. He is slowly being hybridized into a serpent person.#dnd #callofcthullu #rpg #actualplay</p>
