Are Angine De Poitrine Summoning The Devil?
<p>Zoë did a “Guess Where” trip - and they sound SO FUN!</p><p>You buy a getaway for you (or for someone else) and you set out for the adventure without being 100% certain about WHERE your destination is! Sounds like a very fun gift!</p><br><p>Bluesfest is wrapping up, John is laughing at those who think Angine de Poitrine are recruiting people to worship the devil. FYI… That’s actually a thing in the comments on social media. They’re quirky, and interesting, and certainly creating a lot of conversation! We’re thrilled that The Guess Who are still rockin’ and closing things out. 40,000 people were there to see Ella Langly, who, is clearly someone one of us (hi John) hasn’t been paying close enough attention to.</p><br><p>Brooke Henderson’s LPGA performance last weekend was incredible - you better believe we acknowledge that this week.</p><br><p>John was all excited to see our beloved Ottawa comedian Lauren Lane getting her own Netflix special… Only to find out that… No.</p><p>For the record she 100% should have her own Netflix special! Get out and see LOCAL comedy shows. They’re THAT good!</p><br><p>Plus… We always want to keep mental health at the forefront of our conversations, and this week we discuss the impact of an audience telling you about the moments they connect with you. Alfie's A Leaf, Secret Fireworks, And Where To Find A Decent Bottle Opener
<p>Hey it's Zoë and Milky... Just wondering if there was any good news in the city of Ottawa this week.</p><p>Alfie signed with the Leafs... A Stranger In The House, Then A Flood - And A Fire Too
<p>It's Zoë & Milky... ZM!</p><br><p>Thanks to all for being so kind to Zoë last week. Your thoughts and love are so appreciated!</p><p>At the end of last week's show though, she did mention something about her house being broken into.... On top of everything else she's been dealing with.</p><p>We were like, "Wait. What???"</p><p>Today, we get the full story - a stranger in her home, 5 in the morning, the fear, the confusion...</p><br><p>Also - the floods in Ottawa following another massive storm - We talk insurance and the city's role, and how people DO come together in events like this. Zoë's mom is one of those dealing with the cleanup. And, as it turns out, Milky never shared the story of how he almost burned down his entire kitchen just a few weeks ago.</p><br><p>Plus - the Redblacks and the CFL.
