[…] While Anna Marie was working her overnight shift, she learned that Kara had a male visitor to the house. Kara insisted the visit had been innocent, Anna Marie wasn't convinced. At one point, she texted, I hate the relationship we have. Yet, when Anna Marie came home that morning, she began texting a male friend of her own, a co-worker and married man named Mark Olisak. Anna Marie's phone records showed constant activity throughout the morning. Then, at 12.21 p.m., everything stopped. the phone was never used again. The timing was consistent with Dr. Richman's estimated time of death, but Cara maintained that Anna Marie was alive when she left the house at 3 p.m. […]
