[…] There's, you know, there's only seven stories, right, that are rehashed, so I don't know how many shots, I don't know, I don't know how many shots there are that are rehashed. So, you know, is everything a first time idea? You just, you just glean from what you know and who you know and what you've seen. So I also have this theory that all the shots that we've ever done are on walls in museums throughout Europe. Like, I mean, there's nothing new, you know, there's just variations on a theme, and that's one of the reasons why I tell students, I go, look, just, if you want to learn how to be a good camera operator, go, go visit art museums, look at Renaissance art and ask yourself why, and what, it's all right there, and the more you can, you know, and then also, if you can reference it with a DP, it makes you look smart, so that, that's a plus.
