Paul Robeson: Fighter for World Peace w/ Jahan Choudhry
<p>Nick with the Pittsburgh Anti-Imperialist League sits down Jahan Choudhry to discuss the life and legacy of Paul Robeson. Robeson looms large in the history of many progressive movements through the 20th century, but because of his politics and his commitment to his ideals, he has been cast aside. We at PAIL believe Robeson is a figure that all Americans should embrace as we face new crises in our time and we hope this project serves a role in reviving and celebrating the ideas and movements he championed.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Jahan is an educator with the Saturday Free School for Philosophy and Black Liberation, and is also a scholar specializing in figures such as Robeson and WEB DuBois.
