<p>Hi and welcome back to the skate creative podcast I’m Joel curtis and im a musician and skateboarder </p><p><br></p><p>Joining me on the podcast this week is Pete Hellicar </p><p>Pete is a creative director working in art, design and technology.</p><p><br></p><p>In 1997 Pete along with Jon Robson started the British skateboard company Unabomber in 1997.</p><p>Originally called Borstal, UnaBomber brought a subversive perspective to British skateboarding in its graphics and ethos.</p><p>In a very different approach to other fledgling companies at the time , that were still influenced by clean and cool US brands,</p><p>Unabomber brought a fresh and visceral take on what a Uk brand could be. <p>Joining me on the podcast this week is Neil Macdonald </p><p>Neil is a writer, journalist and archivist who has contributed to most major uk skateboarding publications for nearly 20 years .
