Leslie Thompson joins Karalee to talk about her $werve moment that brought her to Baton Rouge, LA and living her dreams in the warmth of the hospitality of NOLA. Leslie is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Residence Inn New Orleans French Quarter Area/Central Business District. She is a Michigan State University Grad School of Hospitality Business, a mom of two sons (Taylor and Justin), both in Air Force, one daughter-in-law with same name as oldest son (Taylor Thompson) and has been married 30 years to her handsome husband, Rick. She is a dog mom to a Dutch Shepard and Bulldog. She loves to cook and research new recipes, almost never cooks the same thing twice (except Gumbo). She was born in and spent most of her life in Michigan but feels very much like a "native" Louisianan.
