Host Michael McMullan is joined by Ferguson to chart his lifelong passion for snooker and his most memorable moments on the Tour, as he qualified to play at the Crucible Theatre on three occasions and reached a career-high world ranking of number 28. Ferguson also reflects upon his transition from his playing career into the administration of our sport and his continued vision to see snooker included within the Olympic Games. The WPBSA Snooker Podcast is back and to launch our second series we reflect on the publication of the acclaimed book 'Pots of Gold - A History of Snooker' last September. Host Michael McMullan is joined by its author David Hendon to discuss the book, which charts the incredible history of snooker over the past decades and the stories who those who have contributed and experienced its journey so far. The pair also make their predictions for this year's Halo World Championship and react to the recent news that the event will stay at the Crucible until at least 2045. Following the sad news that commentary great Clive Everton - regarded by many as the voice of snooker - passed away last Friday, we are joined on the WPBSA Snooker Podcast by three of the people who knew him best to reflect upon a lifetime of service to cuesports. Host Michael McMullan is joined by fellow snooker journalists and broadcasters David Hendon and Phil Yates to remember their friend and mentor with a range of stories and anecdotes from down the years.
