365 dagen achtereen ging Monica de Jong op pad. 365 dagen achtereen tekende zij wat in haar blikveld kwam. De weg voerde haar langs geliefde plekken. Geliefde plekken langs de rivier de Eem. Geliefde plekken in het ouderlijk huis. Geliefde ontmoetingen met haar ouders. Monica stelde haar tekeningen tentoon in Galerie De Ploegh en dan nu in de dependance van de StadsGalerij, de kamer van de wethouder. Leonie Leeuwenberg, trappelend van ongeduld om te beginnen aan de kunstacademie, kwam haar werk tegen tijdens Vreemde Gasten en was van een werk gelijk helemaal ondersteboven. Alsof toeval niet bestaat koppelde de StadsGalerij Leonie aan Monica. En leonie verzorgde de performance bij de opening 365 dagen tekenen mondt uit in een ontroerend en liefkozend visueel dagboek van allerlei kleine en grote dingen die het leven waard maken om te leven. Een eye-opener voor al diegenen die te gehaast door het leven gaan en de kleine, wonderschone gebeurtenissen in de natuur dreigen te missen. Grenzeloos is kortom een boek om iedere dag opnieuw in te kijken en te koesteren als de dag zelf. Het boek zal medio januari in een beperkte oplage van de persen komen. Genaaid gebonden met een hardcover omslag. U kunt het boek nu al reserveren of bestellen als cadeau voor de feestdagen.
