The Pro Storage/How To Archive blog also has a lot of <a href="https://getprostorage.com/blog/category/photographers-filmmakers/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="https://getprostorage.com/blog/category/photographers-filmmakers/">posts aimed at photographers</a>.</p> <p>Here's a piece aimed at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EX0lCJU9Ug" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EX0lCJU9Ug">optimizing image metadata for web SEO</a>.</p> <p>There are a ton of web resources to learn Excel and other database software; if you have a library card, there is often access to digital resources like LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda) to learn a ton of skills for free. Here's a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vl0H-qTclOg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vl0H-qTclOg">two-hour beginner course</a>&nbsp;and a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM0Lldwt7iA" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM0Lldwt7iA">more thorough 6-hour one</a>, both on youtube.</p> <p>There's a piece of software called <a href="https://exiftool.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="https://exiftool.org/">Exif Tool</a>&nbsp;that's extremely powerful for users that are looking to bulk-update *just* the metadata. It's a command-line type interface, but if you can get past the intimidation factor of what looks like coding (I'm not a coder either) it allows you to do all of the updates you would do via Lightroom, Photo Mechanic etc. without needing to view the images and all of the clicking.</p> <p>Here is a link with more details about IG scraping for content and metadata:</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/analytics-vidhya/web-scraping-instagram-with-selenium-b6b1f27b885" target="_blank">https://medium.com/analytics-vidhya/web-scraping-instagram-with-selenium-b6b1f27b885</a></p>
