[…] Uh, they know they're going to be safe and respected and treat it, treated good. Um, We see a lot of young people, older people, gays, lesbians, other queer folk holding hands down the street. Nobody bats an eye. I've never heard a derogatory remark towards anybody here. We do have once a month, the first Thursday every month, the Gayest Happy Hour. It was held at this one bar called Zoetropolis, which unfortunately just closed. But the guy who organized it within 24 hours had a new bar lined up. to host it, and that's how welcoming, again, this community is. Like, yeah, it's not a problem finding a place to congregate. […]
