3. Step Up Migrant Women

Gil migrated to the UK from Brazil with her partner and two children as a tourist, and subsequently became undocumented. When she fled abuse, she was not supported by the police and she ended up homeless with a child in mid-winter. Using theatre techniques, they create a safe space for women to share stories, identify violence and heal. We hear from the artistic director, Carolina Cal.

Women Resisting Violence is presented by Renata Peppl and produced by Louise Morris.
