從沒有人敢在夜裡降落！C-47機組為救6名傷兵賭上性命（下） 1963年。美軍才剛剛派遣軍隊前往越南。那年的7月10夜間，一架美軍的C-47運輸機被派往距西貢75裡的山區去執行一項緊急救援任務，那個簡易的戰備機場沒有跑道燈等的夜航設備，飛行員只是靠著地面部隊在跑道兩側所放的火把當成指標，將飛機落在那個在原始森林中所開出來的跑道上，將六位重傷的南越士兵營救出險。
