在這一集的《葉揚躺一下》中， 我邀請到工程師好朋友 Andy Cheng（鄭先生）再度一起上節目， 分享他令人啼笑皆非又充滿實驗方法的「工程師育兒經」。 從面對雙胞胎時期的手忙腳亂，到得知迎來第三胎的驚訝， Andy 展現了高知識份子的本色，將職場上的專案管理和工程解題思維帶入家庭。 用「二分搜尋法（Binary search）」反覆測試，抓到了小孩子睡前的哭泣耐受時間? 「一開時還在摸索的時候，我就先讓她哭半小時看看。發現哭半小時我實在是沒辦法了，我就把她調成五分鐘。好，五分鐘她要睡著了，放下去，哭五分鐘再抱，也不行，因為小孩就會覺得他一哭你就來啦，一樣搞兩小時。後來就換成 15 分鐘。好，就開始……這還有專有名詞欸，這叫Binary search。」 把洗澡、刷牙等日常瑣事，包裝成人人求之不得的「特權」? 「通常就是他在很小的時候都會跟他解釋說，咦，洗澡是怎麼樣的一件事啊，人為什麼要洗乾淨。但是，過了洗澡時間，你還沒有要洗，『不好意思，今天你不能洗澡，髒就髒你的，蟲在你身上就在你身上，我不管……洗澡是一個特權，你已經錯過了。』哇，這個打擊變得很大……」 發明「複誦吵架法」，讓三寶學會自己自動處理爭執? 「小朋友吵架來找我，我就這樣：『好，你們吵架我知道，好，那現在讓姐姐講發生了什麼事。』姐姐就講，講到一半弟弟插嘴，我說：『欸，先讓姐姐講。』姐姐講完了，好，『那弟弟你有沒有聽到姐姐講的？』『有。』『姐姐講什麼？你複誦一遍。』他就把姐姐講的全部講了一遍，我就：『好，很好。現在換你講你的故事。』他們在複誦過程中其實發現，啊，很累，情緒已經過去了，我也沒有做裁決，這件事就過了，船過水無痕。」 鄭先生說他並不焦慮孩子會被取代，反而認為AI時代跟以前並無太大差異， 他相信「人如何去把答案找出來」的本質從未改變: 「我跟我老婆花很多時間去塑造，我們小孩要當怎麼樣的一個人。如果他是一個可以思考、知道自己要什麼，願意去努力做、去奮鬥的人，那不管在哪一個時代，有怎樣的工具，他會有他自己的人生。」 育兒幾乎沒有正確答案，這一集，我們來聽聽工程師的觀點。 再次深情推薦Andy Cheng 鄭先生創作的房產地圖 App ，這裡看: <a href="https://www.alleyguide.com.tw/">https://www.alleyguide.com.tw/</a> -- Hosting provided by <a href="https://www.soundon.fm/">SoundOn</a>
