[…] And what's even harder is that because appeals are so inefficient, to the point that some of my participants have called them dysfunctional, it's impossible to understand what went wrong. It's impossible to reach anyone at the company. So you have this perfect storm of policies that are broad, They may outline what you can and can't do, but there have been countless cases of over enforcement because of algorithms detecting things that are not violating. And then even when that happens, as a user, you can't learn what you did wrong. You can't educate yourself about it because even the notifications about, you know, maybe the deletion of your account or of your content are incredibly broad and not specific to your case study, which I can also understand on the platform side because some of them say, oh, but if we tell them too much, then people that want to game the system may game it.
