[…] Now, Voice Control has a much larger command set, but it also keeps listening even when you're not actively dictating, which some users find intrusive to leave on permanently. What iOS 27 adds is a lightweight version of voice control's most useful editing commands built directly into ordinary dictation so you get them automatically every time you do that magic tap when you're in an edit field. Nothing extra to enable. As I test this, what I have found is that it doesn't hurt to pause a little after you have finished your dictation. And I see this with other apps that I was using prior to iOS 27, such as Whisperflow. […]
