[…] We've got water bottles, for example, that you put water in there. Nothing's going to happen to the water apart from possibly some leaching of what's in the plastic. But if you're worried about that, use a glass bottle and then the water will be fine. The water we've got on Earth is billions of years old, some of it, and we're still drinking it. That's scary. I never even thought about that. Yeah, I mean, where did the Earth come by all its water? When the Earth first formed about 4.55 billion years ago, it had some water, which was intrinsic to the material that formed the planet. But the planet was forming around a lot of hot material circulating around the sun. […]
