And I remember one of those, we pull up to a car camping spot, dispersed, and it's out in the backcountry, no one else around. And there was a flowing perennial creek. And I remember getting out of the truck and peering into the water. It was crystal clear. And I saw a wild trout swimming around. I was just blown away. You know, we just drove two and a half hours from the desert looking at saguaros, and now we're high up in the alpines. And there's this little piece of water here with wild trout living in it. […]
