I wouldn't say there ever is such a thing as a typical day, but I'll try and describe one. If I'm in London, and I do quite a lot travelling because The Guardian is very global now, people don't realise that two-thirds of our audience... is outside of the UK and we have a flourishing edition in the US, big edition in Australia, new edition in Europe, which is going very well, international edition.
