E07--读书《李嘉诚传》择高处立，向宽处行
<p>今天我们来说一说《李嘉诚传》，也是因为小红书上关注的一位网友，经历过疫情期间生意全部关闭，到疫情后重新启航，她说在这中间的几年，她反复在读《李嘉诚传》，我们先来看看李先生在68年的经商生涯中的一些标志性的事件。</p><p>李先生1928年出生于广东潮州，1943年，14岁的他因为父亲生病去世，开始辍学到茶楼当学徒。1950年，22岁创办长江塑胶厂。以做塑胶起家。</p><p>1967年，香港地价暴跌，他低价购入大批土地储备。</p><p>1972年，长江实业上市，其股票被超额认购65倍。</p><p>1979年，收购英资商行，和记黄埔，成为首位收购英资商行的华人，同年，与霍英东等人出任中国国际信托投资公司董事（也就是中信集团的前称）</p><p>1984年，长江实业购入香港电灯公司的控制性股权。</p><p>1986年进军加拿大，购入赫斯基石油半数股权。至此，长江开始启程国际化。</p><p>1996年，长子遭绑架，李先生支付10.38亿港元赎回长子，未受伤。</p><p>1997年，北大百年校庆，李嘉诚基金会捐赠1000万美元，支持北大新图书馆建设，同年，长江实业获得对巴拿马运河太平洋一端的巴尔博亚和大西洋一端的克里斯托瓦尔两个港口长达25年的管理权。</p><p>1999年，首次被《福布斯》评为华人首富，之后连续15年蝉联。</p><p>1999年，李嘉诚进行香港历史上的最大宗交易，向德国电讯公司出售orange电迅股份，总价值1120亿港元，李先生说这是他最骄傲的交易。</p><p>在此后的十年间，他又涉及中医药，零售连锁、移动电信运营商等领域。</p><p>2018年，对外宣布退休。</p><p>从2000年至2018年，他参加了18年的汕头大学的校庆。</p><p>李先生的一生，无疑是传奇的一生，</p>

<p>《布鲁克林有棵树》的故事，结束于女主人公弗兰莤18岁时的1918年，贝蒂.史密斯将这部几乎是自传的小说于1943年发表后，立刻畅销全美，次年就被改编制作成同名电影，并获奥斯卡奖，小说还被改编为音乐剧，上演了200多场。2008年，美国陷入金融危机，已出版五十多年的《布鲁克林有棵树》再次掀起阅读旋风，数十万读者涌上亚马逊网站购买本书，直推为最佳青少年成长读物。向着天空，不屈不挠，向上生长。《布鲁克林有棵树》已跨越时代和国界，成为积极进取的全球象征。</p><p>书里的主人公，有还未成年就结婚的妈妈凯蒂、爸爸乔尼、小女孩弗兰莤，弟弟尼利。外婆玛丽罗姆利姨妈莤莤和姨妈艾薇。</p><p>这本书用一个小女孩成长中的视角，从她身边具体的人，从她生活的布鲁克林那几个街区发生的具体的事，从社会生活与家庭私人生活之间的交织延展出一幅更大的社会生活图景。写出了一个女孩成身体与心智的变化，这些变化也曾经在自己的妈妈、妈妈的妈妈身上出现过，他们都有从母系传承下来的特质和礼物，文中始终贯穿着家族女性世代连结传承的力量、教育的力量以及宗教信仰的力量，是这些强大的力量给了一个底层的穷苦家庭的支持，教导人无论何时都在向善。虽然家庭物质条件极度匮乏，但是他们一直都不会停止培养精神世界的富足。</p>
