[…] I think so. I think that I just, you know, I love reading books about different cultures, different identities and ethnicities, because I may never learn. And so in a novel, I really can inhabit that world. You know, I recently read a book by a friend that takes place in Nepal, and I've never been. And there's a lot of food in there. There's landscape. And I found it fascinating. And I was thrilled that I could really go deep into that place that she knew. And so I think it's really important to have all of these different identities and places in books so that we can build understanding, you know, that people who are never going, maybe people who never interact with Orthodox Jews or Jews in general, especially given the climate of antisemitism in the world today, you know, why not learn a little bit about the culture and say, these are people just like me, but I still want it to be a great story.
