[…] According to this press release, Daniel was last seen in May of 2020 by either friends or family but was reported missing until December of that year. It's believed that Daniel either worked as a day laborer or mechanic and lived at his home near Mesa Verde National Park alone. A search of his property was conducted in May of 2021. However, the Montezuma County Sheriff's Office failed to find any sign of Daniel or any clues to his whereabouts. In a press release, the Montezuma County Sheriff Steve Nowlin said, It's a big mystery. We don't know where he's at. Sometimes people just take off. We can't show that there's been any foul play whatsoever. […]
