This is why, in my email to the medical examiner back in January 2021, I asked if there was any estimated time of death, because otherwise, there's no real way to know exactly how long my mom was lying there. All the current chief medical examiner could tell me was that he believed she was dead about an hour before she was found by the police at around 1 p.m., but that it likely took several hours for her to die based on the weight of her lungs.
