Het Portret van muziekartiest Judith Rijsenbrij
<p>In haar debuutalbum Stad van Glas onderzoekt Judith haar relatie met Brussel en daarmee zowel persoonlijke als politieke vragen. Zo duikt ze in het leven van haar Opa Max Kohnstamm, die in de Tweede Wereldoorlog in het verzet zat en in een gijzelaarsgevangenis werd gestopt. Na de oorlog was hij één van de grondleggers van de Europese eenwording. Judith werd in een hele andere tijd dan haar Opa geboren: 80 jaar later dan hij. Toch zijn vergelijkbare thema’s ook voor haar relevant. Hoe zorgen we er bijvoorbeeld voor dat we elkaar kunnen blijven vasthouden in tijden van oorlog en haat?
